Hi, I'm Mary, of Oppenheim Medical Writing.
I'm a Dublin based, free-lance health and medical writer. I have extensive medical knowledge and a passion for promoting accurate health information.
There is a wealth of brilliant research and ongoing developments within the medical field. Unfortunately, some of this information is not easy to understand, and can even be confusing. With years under my belt as a clinical doctor and effective communicator, I am passionate about presenting health information concisely and accurately.
I graduated from University College Cork, Ireland, in 2009 with a degree in medicine. Over the next decade, I gained valuable medical knowledge and perfected my medical communication skills.
I have worked in multiple clinical fields over the years as a doctor. With particular expertise in neurology, general medicine, oncology and cardiology.
I'm proud to say I'm a medical tutor with the Global Medical Education Collaborative. This fantastic organisation provides education to medical students in the third world.
Recently, I've enjoyed participating in a health writing masterclass with Michelle Guillemard (at health writers hub) to hone my medical and health writing skills.
